Welcome to Our New Priest
On behalf of our Pastor Fr. Dominic Tran and the St Thomas Aquinas Parish family, we welcome Fr. Markus, CM, a Chaplain for the Indonesian Catholic Community at St. Thomas Aquinas.
Fr. Markus Rudy Hermawan has been appointed to take over leadership of the Indonesian Community from Father Kurniawan here at St. Thomas Aquinas.
We thank Father Kurniawan for his five years of service and we look forward to our five years with Father Markus Rudy Hermawan, beginning July 14, 2022.
Fr. Markus Rudy Hermawan was born in Madiun, East Java, Indonesia on August 21, 1969. Father graduated from Widya Sasanja College of Philosophy and Theology at Malang, East Java, Indonesia and received his Master’s in Global Development and Social Justice from St. John’s University, Rome Campus. Father Markus Rudy Hermawan Attended the Major Seminary of the Congregation of the Mission, Malang, East Java, Indonesia and was ordained on September 8, 1998.
